A few months ago, while teaching in the Spring, I applied for a F/T position at CMU HCII working on a research project and signed a 1-year contract.
However, I’m writing lots of code at work and by the end of the day I really haven’t felt like working on warifuru. I’m learning caffe, openpose, and even more Qt5 tricks so I’ll be ready for a new gig next Spring when my contract ends. But coding after dinner? Ugh, I’m already doing that for my day job some evenings.
I’m also doing some ID, research for the house we’re building, and selling off tons of crap on eBay. I really don’t remember owning this much board game / RPG stuff in the late 70s and early 80s, but cleaning out the closet at my mom’s house is paying off quite nicely.
